WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

Professional Passion: I strive to use compassion, humor, and integrity to help individuals find resources to meet their needs (in small and mighty ways), thereby creating the collective of greater community.

Experience: While I am one of DP&C’s newest team members, I have prior background both in Admin Support and in the People-Helping professions. Previous work included both public and private sectors within diverse fields such as library, wholesale auto industry (scrap), and ethical review board. I am excited to work with DP&C clients and staff to extend my knowledge base, to best help clients in connecting to their financial mentors and advisors.

Education: BA in Interdisciplinary Arts & Sciences, AAS in Social Services

Memberships and Activities: Causes dear to me: educational programs for school kids, foster kids advocacy, and promoting sound mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being in every individual. Previous volunteering: community support groups assisting those with recovery issues, mental illness, and trauma survivors/PTSD, and in working with veterans/military, and other special populations/marginalized groups.

WHAT YOU WANT TO KNOW:

Personal Mission Statement: To be present in each moment, and to demonstrate good character. …A simple statement, yet a challenging directive. Work with what you’ve got, act where you can, respect all.

Passions after 5pm: In winter (PNW), I’m a homebody curled near a fireplace with a good show or book (something extremely geeky or hyper-focused on art, philosophy, or history), or lost down a rabbit hole in Wikipedia. In summer, I’m a fair weather (beginner) hiker, very-amateur photographer, and veritable sun lizard (wrinkles and all). I absolutely LOVE escape rooms/locked puzzle rooms (Note: I’d never make it out or ‘win’ without my trusty mystery gang!).

You’ll never catch me: passing by a National Park (or NHS/NHM), without briefly adventuring; or sitting in ANY warm, sunny spot.

The bottom line: Every individual knows one thing you don’t. Seek, but know your boundaries. Open mind, open eyes, open ears to open heart.
