Not-for-Profit Organizations

As a not-for-profit organization, your focus is on creating impact and fulfilling your mission. At DP&C, we understand that a strong, stable financial foundation is essential to achieving that goal. That’s why we specialize in delivering tailored tax, audit, accounting, and consulting services designed specifically for the unique needs of not-for-profit entities.

Our team brings deep industry knowledge and decades of experience to help you navigate financial challenges, ensure compliance, and plan strategically for the future. We’re committed to supporting the long-term strength and viability of the organizations we serve.

Beyond our professional services, DP&C proudly invests in our local not-for-profit community—through donations, board participation, and active involvement in events that advance your causes.

As members of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) Governmental Audit Quality Center (GAQC) and Not-For-Profit Center, we gain access to comprehensive resources that assist us in further enhancing the quality of our not-for-profit audits. The resources provide us timely information on a variety of technical, legislative and regulatory subjects that we can, in turn, apply to our audits to ensure compliance with the appropriate standards and changes in regulations. In addition, our memberships provide us the opportunity to network and exchange information with others in the not-for-profit auditing community via conferences and continuing professional education. This enables us to learn and enhance best practices on our not-for-profit audit engagements.

While we do not currently perform single audits (Uniform Guidance), we remain active members of these organizations as part of our ongoing commitment to excellence and quality within the not-for-profit sector. As a member of the Centers, we voluntarily uphold the highest professional standards by meeting rigorous membership requirements. These include appointing a shareholder responsible for the quality of our not-for-profit audit practice, maintaining robust quality control programs, conducting annual internal inspections, and making our peer review report findings publicly available.
